Ever wish you even *had* a blog, let alone something successful?
Well! www.bloggingbasics101.com/how-do-i-start-a-blog/ has a nice description for how to actually *get* a blog, with topics like:
Choose a great blog platform
Choose a web host for your blog
How to Set up a blog on your own domain
Design your new blog
Useful resources for blogging
But you know… it really IS quite easy to do.
You can grab your own journaling space online (even free!) over at
wordpress.com (notice how its not a .org?).
Select a name for your blog, and either it gets created for free, or you’re told to pick another name (one unused).
So! You might have something like:

One page deals with making money in Instagram for free (and has a W+ button no less).
So truly, you don’t even have to wait to create your own blog…
and even
makes it easy and free to get your earlobes wet…

It’s Monday!
Actually, it’s not. It’s still Sunday at around 10pm.
I gave up sleeping about 30 minutes ago… and figured, okay, why not just take advantage of this awake time and write up the morning newsletter so it would all be ready.
So here I am!
Sunday was rather fascinating, indeed. First of all, I had a grand burst of energy (yay!) and got lots of goodies done.
Throughout the day, I noticed something nifty about our colleagues, and wrote up:
So! Today was a rather good day, all in all…
I’ve discovered that my energies from years ago have *really* decreased however!
I did manage to get the first draft of the sales page for my latest up so go me!
This would have taken perhaps 1/3 the amount of time a few years ago but ’tis life, and life is good….
So I shall take that as well.
In other news, I truly enjoyed the back and forths and overall wisdom-sharing with my colleagues today like Arun Chandran Tiffany Rae Lambert Amanda Craven Holly Kolman Travis Sago Alessandro Zamboni Dennis Becker Bill Hugall Sean Donahoe Doc Shar Rachael Marie Newport – it really made me smile bigtime!
And recognizing Shawn Hansen for her not 1 but 2! commissions for the Dennis Becker and Barb Ling group coaching…. it will be the first of many.
What else. In other news, I saw marketers desperate for attention, and other marketers ignoring them because they recognize the sadness that drove the original posts.
And! Outside my happy little marketing bubble, I saw yet other marketers do the Drama Drama Drama, My Kingdom for the Drama chest-beating dance. Oh my goodness – such a waste of time (in my opinion).
Life is short, folks.
It’s REALLY REALLY short compared to eternity.
Why on EARTH would you waste the moments of life you possess in a pissing contest?
Seriously … the mind boggles.
For the most part, I exist inside my happy little marketing bubble and rarely venture outside it.
There’s a reason for this.
It makes me money.
And making money is one of my most favorite things in life, as I can use that money to support my family, who IS the most important thing in my life.
Your takeaway?
Don’t let tweebleheads have power over you.
Do have fun with your colleagues!
Don’t expect that saying “you were offended” will make any difference whatsoever, because you *cannot* control what other people say or do….
… But you *can* choose to teach yourself how to take back your own power.
Do take time out for things *besides* work. I reckon I spent 3-4 hours on and off doing things for the family – cooking breakfast/lunch/dinner, spending time with the husband and the kid at home, chatting with online friends about their challenges and offering sound advice.
In closing?
I have now played the soundtrack to Pacific Rim 13 times (it’s about an hour in length). It’s great product creation music.
But I digress.
In closing, choose wisely how you spend your time.
And take a moment to raise the spirits of others. It’s a great gift that can have lasting effects for a long long time.

… when Pokemon Go mania swept the known universe?
Its an Augmented Reality App that allowed people to ‘catch’ virtual Pokemon via their mobile phone….
And wow! It was a HUGE hit!
Its now some time later….
… Hubspot came up with their list of 10 AR apps that are even ‘better’ over at

One of my fav parts of the article is

And I am SO late.
You know, long long ago, I had energy.
I really did.
I wrote about it:
Good morning! How is that rising and shining today?
Me, I’m realizing NOW that my unlimited energy from 2014 until last year or so should have *really* been treasured and utilized more.
Can’t complain, well of course I can, I *am* complaining, or perhaps, just missing what I had. I’ve revamped my business enough that I am still productive even as nonoptimal as I am but yep.
Sure do miss those days.
You young whippersnappers who are in great health (aka anyone 1 day younger than me, which means you’re closer to 100 than 0) – be grateful you still have what you do.
Life can happen in the blink of an eye (as the younger whippersnappers who are also in my situation) can testify to.
Its not fair, its not unfair – it’s life. And everyone must deal with it as they can.
Take a moment to make someone else’s day shine – ask how they’re doing, share some funny memes you know they’ll see and laugh at, … something that lets others know, you see them and you appreciate them.

Still though, above ground and oh yes.
The spouse.
Let’s just say that there was a weee bit of miscommunications on both our parts yesterday.
He felt something was truly important which really didn’t register with me.
However, having now dealt with one kid and the emotions I’m still coming to terms with now…
… I was finally able to *see* things from his viewpoint.
So we had a good talk yesterday and what we both could have done to make things easier in the future.
25 years we’ve been married….
We’re still learning how to accommodate the other at times.
