Well then!
While many content marketing articles mention you should *avoid* clickbait…

provides some rather compelling reasons why it’s a great thing to consider!
To wit:
“Clickbait isn’t necessarily bad,” says Andrew Selepak, a professor at the University of Florida. “While we often view clickbait negatively because it is associated with fake news and online hucksters, if your company has a solid product that can actually help consumers, getting people to your site by hook or crook isn’t such a bad thing.”
He offers P.T. Barnum’s “Greatest Show on Earth” label as an example of pre-internet clickbait: “While it is debatable that P.T. Barnum truly had the greatest show on earth, his clickbait advertising did get people to come see his show, and what they saw was entertaining….”
Thus, you want to ensure that your content fulfills the promise of your subject title.

Got up ‘way late again.
It’s, what 7:30am? Xmas Eve day. Ideally all shopping has been done… I hope so for you too!
And boy did I lose my cool yesterday with my youngest.
In my defense, it was totally obvious to any kid that didn’t have NVLD and could buy social clues.
In my NOT defense, I totally f*cked up because I possibly expected more than the kid was able to do.
So I will apologize today; live and learn.
‘Sides that, OMG…. the amount of nonoptimalness that is smooshing me is insane.
Going to drive to the college where Kid3 is at for Xmas Day (Kid3 is cat sitting for roommates, so cannot come home).
And that is fine. But methinks I will have a convo with him and the other kids before that drive happens.
The fact is, even if you’re so freakin’ sick of your kids doing the unexpected… they’re still your kids AND… they’re on their own personal hero’s journey towards their own personal greatness.
Hard to remember sometimes.

It certainly is!
Well actually no, it’s still Thursday at around 10:30pm or so.
And of course, if I can’t sleep… that means its time to be productive instead!
Yesterday was rather grand. Kid4 asked to get his hair dyed silver and it ended up taking 4.5 hours – 3 different tones of silver all blended together. Think “Jack Frost” from the Rise of the Guardians and blend the light silver to dark silver. I will admit – the stylist is a true artist; I have never seen such a color pulled off so incredibly well.
In other Lingland news, Dennis and I are pulling together our End of the Year Evergreen Gems and wow, will you ever like it – it includes fresh 2019 offerings, a fantastic deal on past goodies and more.
