And….. Where was I?
Ah yes!
It’s Friday!
My apologies for not getting the newsletter out yesterday.
Basically, I left the hotel at 3am or so, Got to the airport around 4am, and the flight took off at 6am.
Sat next to a charming army chap who told me he was returning to my area to visit his mom. We talked a lot about army life (I didn’t know 98% of it) and it seems that he had some adventures in trying to get the airline ticket correct.
At the end, I told him I supported our military and asked if I could contribute to the ticket. Alas, he said no, so I simply responded, thank you for your service.
Very nice individual.
Returned home (yay!) to find out my youngest did a great cleaning job on some things (yay!). There were thingees to fix afterwards but as he was so proud of his achievement, I figured I’d talk about *that* afterwards.
And most importantly… back home with the husband!
Missed him greatly I did. ‘Twas grand to see the kids, make no mistake…
But if my kids are the frosting on the cake, my husband is the cake itself. 🙂
