Where was I? Ah yes, Saturday!
Oh my flappin’ earlobes.
So! Yesterday.
Yesterday was the full spectrum of emotions.
I visited one doc and discovered that the exostoses on my back/hips are starting to make themselves known (extra cartilage lumps, long story). So I wrote:
“No matter what hits you, the only thing that matters is that (after you give yourself time to grieve/mourn/selfPity/etc.) you get back up again.”
Probably will grieve this weekend and then move on.

Life *happens*. But its how you deal with it that makes a difference:

“When I had my amputation, I asked to keep my leg….my doctor said no. Then I asked if I could keep just my toe…he said no. I wanted to do something similar to what this lady is doing. I did create a blog called “Living with Murphy” which is the name for my prosthetic leg. Murphy is Robocop’s name before he became Robocop.

(my kids have always wanted to know when I would get a prosthetic so they could call me the Mominator.

Yesterday I got tired of being sick and tired.
So I posted on FB about having ME time, and got to the gym. Notice the infinity picture:
In the women’s lockerroom, there are 2 mirrors facing one another that arent exactly perfect.
Hence infinity.

There was one that showcased feet by the beach, so I had to do one better.
Admire the socks! I was waiting for the husband to finish his gym time.

Don’t forget yesterdays:
Where was I? Ah yes, Thursday!
Slogged my way to the gym yesterday and wow, was it an effort. 🙁
But hey, I’m above ground still so yay!
And have you noticed a trend towards snarkyness these days?
Here’s what I posted yesterday:
“It takes the same amount of effort to be kind as to be snarky.
It truly baffles me why anyone would want to proactively be a jerk/spread negativity/etc.
The future is always in motion. Here’s a novel thought – make that motion create something *positive* instead of being a tweeblehead.
Just a thought, mind you. Just a thought.”
I just don’t get it. 🙁
But ’tis their lives.
Did take the husband out for a great Indian restaurant meal (yay there) and did get in touch with tax folk for finishing up my taxes so there’s that.
Wow. I’m a wealth of excitement these days.
But still, your takeaway?
Treat others as you’d like to be treated yourself. Don’t be a jerk when you can add to the goodness around you.
