In other Lingland news, I visited my doctor yesterday and learned that the secretary had been involved in a car accident and was naturally shaken up. So after I was done, I zoomed to my local store and picked up a very cheerful flower pot (packed with mini daffodils in bloom).
It made the secretary very happy (yay!).

One of the joys of being a 21 year old hot star model is the immense amount of privacy issues, I suppose.
Personally I wouldn’t know, as I’m a 50+ year old handicapable woman who is waiting for her body to say YES momopause or NOT momopause. Suffice it to say, massive amounts of emotions rocked my family (okay me). Cried 15 minutes straight to my husband who very kindly explained some of the issues that were bothering me (deals with being a caucasian mom to bi-racial kids; my husband was a supervisor at Bell Labs and he himself had dealt not only with racism but reverse racism as well).
Got it out of my system so yay.
In other Lingland news, I realized that as I’m already a seasoned product creator, I simply cannot pretend to be a newbie (because people are automatically made aware of my product releases).
This… is quite the wibblehead to me.
So, at some point, I will go undercover and start my newbizing myself. Wah.

I’d love to share that yesterday was grandness beyond all imagining but….

Won’t bore you with the details but suffice it to say, rather glad today is a new day!
While on bedrest yesterday, I noticed that my laptop was running ‘waaaay slow.
Not good!
So I downloaded Trend Micro Housecall from

5 malwares were happily hiding on my laptop.
Sigh.
In other news, do you think you need to buy a product before you let your list know?
Or do you think you need to actually master a skillset before you can teach?
My answer is NO.
Why? Here’s what I shared.
“You can most definitely teach when you have never done the action yourself.
My first product, The Internet Recruiting Edge, taught recruiters how to find resumes for free online (back in 1998). Sold for $147 a pop. I had never been a recruiter and yet ended up teaching recruiters not only how to find candidates but also how to close candidates/network with HR and more.
I have never done those skills before either. However, I knew how to research the information and present it in a way that resonated with my audience.
And I’m considered one of the original pioneers in the art of Internet recruiting.
My next product, the Real Estate Pro’s Internet Edge, became a product pick by the National Association for Realtors. I become a columnist for a real estate news outlet regarding all things Internet/real estate/profiting.
And no, I have never been a Realtor either.
Your takeaway? Just because you might not have done something does NOT mean you cannot teach it (and teach it with flair and style).”
