I had 2! whole! hours! of sleep during the night.
Not happy! Lots of pain in hips and such.
But stuff could always be worse.
Before that, however, was a good day…
Took the husband out for lunch…
… got to the gym….
And also saw the doc – definitely do have a herniated disc so wah.
Looking for relief from that as well.
Kid-wise, all 4 kids seem to be doing peachy! Looks like boarding school was definitely the Right Thing for my youngest.

I woke up late (no kids! I’m an empty nester!) and then had an MRI:
30 minutes in the MRI tube … wheee!
Apparently I have a herniated disc.
More wheeee!
Going to see about what to do for that today.
Sigh.
Kidwise, it looks like my youngest is doing grand with the new school – it appears its ‘way more challenging than my local school. So yay there!

OMG. What a day yesterday.
Drove our youngest to an academic boarding school and my gosh the kid is hugely loving it!
It’s a very International school; Americans are quite the minority.
He is very much for diversity as well so it is a magnificent match!
Today begins the academic placements so we’ll see how that goes.
Got home around 3pm, went to the pool late with the husband:

I’m an Empty Nester!
Wrote this yesterday:
“Sheer. Utter. Total. Exhaustion.
Honorable Son II has begun his adventure at boarding school. These past 2 weeks have been…. character-building! Going to ideally give myself permission to finally take a break (perhaps even decompress at the gym) but yep…
… so proud of all my kids. They are part of the hope of this generation.”
