And….. Where was I?
Ah yes!
It’s Sunday!
Actually, gnope – it’s still Saturday around 6:00pm and….
Saturday was very hard. 🙁 .
In the weee hours of the morning, the Kingly Moose barked inside the house.
So I went to him – he had pooped on himself and was a mess. And his backlegs just totally stopped working. 🙁
So I awakened my youngest and told him the scenario. After a long silence, he told me that it was probably the right thing to do, to let the Kingly Moose (a very Old Moose) be put to sleep.
We both went there….
… and sat with him until he crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
It was done very pain-free – the horrible panting he was doing during the entire night/morning eased, his breathing deepened, he fell asleep….
… and then it was over.
So to be quite honest, I haven’t really done much of anything today.
The Court Jester Moose, derpy that he is, doesn’t seem to have made any connection (for which I am glad).
He’s also a very old moose as well.
Marketing wise (because life continues no matter what)…

Actually, gnope – it’s still Thursday around 5:50pm and….
Sunday was quite exciting indeed!
Lessee. First, I decided to treat myself and go to the movies to see the action version of the DennisAndBarb show:
Hobbs and Shaw!
To wit:
True, Dennis and I would be ‘way more athletic and action oriented, but hey.
They did good, considering…. they’re not us. 🙂
It was just soooooooo over the top and silly – ’twas quite a fantastically good time. 🙂
Came home to a rather irate customer and behold my response.
Couple of things to note.
First, if you’re going to ask for a refund… it’s really quite good form NOT to be rude and insulting.
I mean, do people go around thinking, “Jeepers! I wonder what is the very best way NOT to get a refund”, do that way, and hit SEND?
It reminds me of just how horrible some folk can be to retail workers or customer service or anyone….
Just not good all around.
I posted it to Facebook (blanking out the ID of course) over at:
… and you can see the discussion that resulted.
Interestingly enough, the guy contacted me with *why* was dispeased. Here’s another one of my answers:
“…Good afternoon!
I appreciate your comments. Here’s the thing about cheatsheets – they’re generally 1 page (which I specified 3 times on the sales page) and serve a *specific* purpose.
Buyers of my products range from the experienced who can handle just 1 page (and know how to use the resources listed to teach themselves) to folks kinda sorta experienced (hence the first upsell) to folks who want all the research done for them (the second upsell) to the really really REALLY inexperienced (the third upsell) and those who want a full-blown blueprint (both the first and last upsell).
Folks generally buy whatever is their level.

Another powerful takeaway…
When some emails you and is rude/abusive… it *might* be the fact you were a very convenient outlet for that person’s rage. Its still no excuse, and if that person has any sense of common sense courtesy, they’ll send a followup email to apologize.
We’ll see because… you know….
These things happen.
It sounds corny to say, product creators are people like you and me, but honestly…
Being mean NEVER solves anything. Well, perhaps it *does*… but seriously, life is just too darned short to waste one’s resources on rudeness.
