Ah yes, it’s Friday!
Well, still really…. Thursday at 10:30pm.
Just finished watching the finale of Star Trek Discovery: Season 2 and I will admit – there was a WHOLE lot to wrap my mind around.
However, I utterly adored how they got around the whole canon issue (canon, for those who aren’t geeks, is basically ‘Star Trek built a history starting from the 1960s and OMG DIE DIE DIE if you dare try to introduce different elements!).
Utterly insane to me – you never hear Batman purists from the 1960s (Bat Shark Repellent anyone?) have such comments about THAT particular reboot.
But anywhos….
The ending to Season 1 was ‘way more enjoyable to me, personally… but hey.
It brings back a new and shiny Star Trek for THIS century… and I for one adore it.
