Ah yes!
It’s Sunday!
Actually, gnope – it’s still Saturday at around 6pm
Very … interesting day Saturday was.
Hour of biking done, yay!
Did work on my latest (yay!).
And then I was pinged by a colleague who asked for help on their salespage as it was converting rather poorly.
I did some magic and the person saw an 8 fold increase on conversions.
That… made me feel rather great – helping out someone is one of the best feelings you can do.
And another colleague has a fantastic launch BUT…
… the vast majority of my readers will not go for it.
Still, though, I made sure to post about it on my social media and encourage other colleagues to share their links and bonuses.
My take is, you help out when you can, and when you can’t….
… you find an alternative way to, well, help out. 🙂
In other news, the local animal hospital called…
The Kingly Mooses’ ashes and pawprints have been received.
The husband and I will go there tomorrow to pick them up.
It’s been a week today…. and his spirit is still watching over my family.

Ah yes!
It’s Saturday!
Actually, gnope – it’s still Friday at 6:40pm or so
Very … tweebly day Friday was.
Morning biking done, yay!
However, prior to that and after that – I had awakened with one of those backaches that makes you feel like your entire spine is going to collapse at any minute?
Blah.
Alas, I let the physical issues get to me, mentally as well.
I’m going to blog about it tomorrow, I think…. but in a nutshell, ARGH!
You know how it’s commonly believed that women get more emotional than men?
Let me tell you, in the Ling household… the exact… NOT OPPOSITE! is true!
In other words, my husband is the Vulcan, I am the Betazoid, and for the most part, I keep my emotions in check UNLESS I’m dealing with mondo smooshPain.
Not only did I show the opposite of understanding with my husband, I also was short-tempered with my colleagues as well.
It was then I realized that removing myself from humanity was a Good Idea indeed. I apologized to all to whom I was the opposite of polite, threw everything pain-relief I had at me, was doing ‘way better, about to nap and then…
My beloved handyman called to say he could show up this afternoon instead of the next day to wrassle down the sink.
Thus, all sleep disappeared (back was about 50% better), wonderful handyman came, and figured out the issue. Which was REALLY maddening, because the husband had thought he knew what the problem was, I checked 3 times to ensure that was NOT the issue, haha I was right!, I thought…
… and then it was revealed I had checked to the right of the area, and NOT the left.
Sigh. Apologized to the husband for insisting I was correct – if I’m wrong, I’m wrong and I am happy to admit that.
Husband’s response was, no problem, why would you think that was an issue?
It’s amazing how we both can accept each other’s negative qualities as they’re just perhaps 2% of the other… and let the other 98% rule. 🙂
