My gosh.
It’s been awhile, aye?
Suffice it to say, life kicked me in the teeth, almost 10 years since the *last* time life kicked me in the teeth.
So I suppose I should be grateful for the 10 past years…
Glorious they have been!
And now?
Well, I’m realizing yet again that taking control of my life (and more importantly, my emotions) is a Very Good Thing indeed.
These past 10 years saw me:
- Learn how to mail more than once a day
- Teach myself to create super cheatsheets/products/webinars and more
And most importantly perhaps:
Learn how even if people *realize* they are buying the dream…
… they’re still quite happy to fling cash in the dream’s direction *without* giving themselves permission to do more.
It presented a challenge for me.
An affiliate marketer makes money when people buy from their affiliate links.
But how can you make money if you choose only to let people know about the products… and not provide your takes?
Answer – super easy, I discovered.
And that bothered me… because I’d see folks buy things they have zero intentions of using.
Sometimes folks got into debt because of their product buying and not putting them into use.
That led me to wrestle with…
How can I keep being an affiliate marketer and feel good about the work I do?
Answer: Let folks know upfront that in virtually all cases – there ARE no Easy Buttons available!
Facts are:
You need to spend money on an autoresponder.
- You need that autoresponder to store a list!
- And to get people onto that list, you either have to provide them with excellent reasons to optin, or create products so they are automatically registered to your list.
This is about the most basic you can get for success on the Internet.
And it’s ‘way easier to do that in the Make Money Online niche…. than any subniche available.
BUT!
Here’s the good news.
ANY niche will require:
- Your own list (hence your own autoresponder)
- Products to sell to that niche (think digital products)
- A HUGE following of enthusiastic fans
And when you choose to profit in the Make Money Online Niche…
You *learn* all about how to create the above!
This gives you a fantastic edge over any competitors in any niche you decide to move to.
