Ah yes.  Sunday!  My birdieDay yesterday was grand!  Lots of rest, good times with the family and I discovered this morning, FB hid about 120+ of the earliest HBD 288 or so posts…. so I had to hunt around to thank everyone.

Time very well spent!!

In other news, one piggyMoose is chomping now on the other.  🙁  Not good – its my son’s luck that he found the only nonsocial piggyMoose in the world.  So he’s separating out the cages to give said PM his space… figuring out if we want to adopt a social PM for the other.  More soon!

It’s Saturday morning and you know something?

Where was I?

Ah yes!  Saturday!  Today I am closer to 100 than to 0.  Fascinating thing to comprehend.  And yesterday was another kid’s birdieDay – drove all over creation but you know something?

Grief, when it strikes, really can cripple you bigtime.

You simply HAVE to give yourself permission to let it pass.

That was me yesterday – not quite grief but more of, I’m so old, I’m decreasing health-wise, I’m really kinda sorta blah….

Why bother?

So I went to bed early.  That worked great (until my youngest awakened me at 10:30 with a stomach ache).

Today the sun is shining brighter…. it really IS a hero’s journey.
