Such an interesting earlobey day.
My eldest came home as you know (yay!) and I drove her to drop off her car for maintenance. We had a great discussion about the other siblings (all of them adore her) and how to help them continue to mature.
Then a friend of mine asked me to pick up one of their kids (who is autistic) to bring home from school. This kid is 13 and extremely smart. So we had a most excellent conversation on the way back home and I emphasized that when Mom came home, the kid was to take good care of her because “parents need help from kids too.”
Found out this morning that went extremely well. So yay there!
