Where was I? Ah yes, Sunday!
First, let’s talk Moms Day!
Happy Mom’s Day for you if you/yours celebrate it….
BUT if you have a toxic mom, it’s ok NOT to feel happy joy joy.
I wrote about Toxic Moms this morning:
“Something about Moms Day and dealing with toxic Moms….
When I was growing up, one never missed Mothers Day.
Nor Mom’s birdieDay (which is why Honorable Son 1 was born one day before my birthday – I figured that by the time I was in my 80s, I’d want my own darned day to myself. So even though he was due on my birthday… he arrived one day sooner. But I digress).
Mom never really liked flowers on Mothers Day (but weird plants were appreciated. I remember one day my brother gave her a bulb-like unitentifiable “thing” – 40 years later its still growing in my home). Creative gifts were always liked.
Now that I’m a mom, I realize that what *I* want… is peace, harmony and laughter in my home. And all 4 kids totally delivered on that – lots of good communications, good times and great resting (my eldest took all the kids to the mall, leaving us with peace and quiet!).
Due to exams, Mothers Day will be officially giftizing next weekend (although Honorable Son II made me a Star Wars Lego video which was sooo adorable).
But one of the highlights today…. a prior disagreement was ironed out by the kids (and it required a lot of maturity on both their parts). So proud I am of them; it made this Mothers Day the best ever.
I am *hugely* lucky to have this kind of relationship/Moms Day!
That being said…
There are some folk out there who have toxic moms.
Some folk who have been raised to always doubt themselves…
… and to those people I say:
It’s not you.
It’s never *been* you.
Being a mom, alas, never automatically gifts women with wisdom and sanity….
… some women simply never were cut out to be moms.
But they still have kids….
… and those kids suffer from the lack of compassion and empathy a toxic parent emits.
So if you simply cannot wish your Mom a Happy Mother’s Day because of the toxicity…
That’s *okay.*
We all do the very best we can but yep… sometimes the collateral damage feels just too great.
Sane mom or no might you have… we are all worthy of appreciation and love.
Do your best to pass on that love and appreciation whever you can…
Happy Moms Day to all!”

My FB Live Traffic Automation Cheat Sheet was released a week after Barb Ling did her very successful FB Live cheat sheet. I even debated not doing it, keeping it for ‘ron’ or later on (Aussie saying). I decided to release it, and I have had nearly 100 sales of products and it’s still selling.
I made nearly $400, paid my affilliates $143 and even with the mistakes I made with SMTP techie stuff, it all got sorted. It might not be the big bucks, but it’s the start and I’m nearly ready for my next product…”

Well.
For reasons that defy mere mortal sanity, I’m in the market for a new minivan.
So I went to my fav dealer to negotiate.
But you know what I did NOT do?
I neglected to go to:
Edmunds.com!
Why was this a massive fail on my part?
Because after I was unable to come out with a deal, I DID research there….
…. and found that the best price that I was offered was NOT as good as Edmunds.com .
🙁
This did NOT flap my earlobes at all!!
So yep. Most unhappy.
Today, I will probably pack the husband into the moosemobile and we’ll venture to another dealership to see what miracles we can create.
Sigh.
Elsewhere in Lingland, I found some untruth issues with my kids (isn’t that a polite way of describing it?) so I will have to tackle that this morning as well (note – I’m writing this at 4:14am, having gotten up at 2:30am). Lots of angst will probably happen but its all part of parenting.

Thing is, until they give themselves permission to actually put things into action….
… the ONLY way they’ll get pleasure from IM is FROM said retail high.
And you know something? There is ZERO wrong with that.
Everyone has their own time-table, their own self-confidence (or lack of it)… and nobody can make someone start *sooner*.
That’s why I hate it when I see my colleagues trying to shame simple product creations that teach *only* the most basic of concepts.
Not everyone is ready for what’s really required to be successful online… *at this exact moment*.
But everyone CAN grow into their greatness.
