Where was I? Ah yes, Sunday!
Fascinating day yesterday. Did manage to get to the pool:
Still not anywhere near optimal performance…
… but at least I did *something*.
So yay there.
And this morning, got up at 3:30am BUT! Instead of exiting the bed, I stayed there and did isometric exercises for 30 minutes. I figure that even if I can no longer do weight bearing workouts…. I can do *something*.
Remember, you own your own health…. nobody else.
And! Had a husband date yesterday – saw the psychedelic movie Dr. Strange (which could have been patterned after Honorable Kid #3. Lead character is brilliant, arrogant, yet has a good heart). Going to see if I can take said kid to see it today…. always good to see how one can temper oneself and rise to the occasion.

For me, methinks yesterday was massive MomOPause – just didn’t want to handle the family responsibilities and all that ensued from it!

Elsewhere in Lingland, yesterday I asked my network what I should tell my husband that he wanted for lunch. And yes, the husband insisted that *I* make the decision. Now I know where my eldest gets it from. Here are some responses:
- Costco date
- My dad used to tell my mom he didn’t care so she would make him a bologna sandwich.
- COSTCO DATE
- I love bologna yum!
- Boston Market!
- Sushi!
- Bacon and a Big Screen TV. Done.
We ended up at Chinese. 🙂
