Here in Lingland, the husband and I took out a good friend who is going thru some challenges. I hope we helped.
And yesterday, I wrote the following:
“Do you think you should value taking part in something… if you’re not the final winner?”
So many people in IM give off this YOU MUST BE THE BEST!!!!! ANYTHING ELSE, YOU’RE TWEEEEBLY! aura…
… and I just don’t believe that whatsoever.
Sometimes the effort of even taking part requires a huge leveling up of confidence….
… and the benefits to THAT can never be underestimated.
I think sometimes, people get so hung up on “looking the best” they don’t care about their own personally “achieving the best.”

Most amusingly, mind you… do you remember how back in January, Sears rebuilt the entire machine for me? Replaced all parts except….
…. one that was involved with the motor….
… and THAT snapped off and happily hid inside the washing machine guts.

Anywhos, ’tis fixed.
And in other Lingland News, my youngest was on a bus for 7 hours yesterday, returning from Washington DC! Just think – 7 years ago I had done that with my eldest… and now its my youngest’ turn.
How time flies!

Even with all the hardware I’m carrying in my body…. I still try to do whatever I can. So yay there!

It was before my Costco date with my husband:

“Had a talk with the husband about how easy it is to make money in our industry and how I am so dismayed that everyone is ignoring the huge popular trends happening right now.
His reaction? “It’s more money for you to make.”
This is one reason why I never take ownership of people actually using products … it’s so frustrating when they choose not to take action.
