Where was I?
Ah yes, Sunday!
My apologies for yesterday’s travel edition. What a Friday/Saturday!!!
In a nutshell, my 16 year old is starting early college. So we drove 984568974687 miles to drop him off!
And yesterday started off with the husband waking *slowly*….
But then….
A sunrise in the coffee cup appeared!
Soon to be followed by:
Paradise that was.
The welcoming area was a testimony to a college who knows how to market to parents:

After moving our kid in, we had pictures taken:
And that the highlight of the day!
Kid went off to decorate his dorm, the husband and I had lunch… and then we drove 9843569847 miles back home.
The Mooses were fine, the piggyMoose was fine, the various pets and such were fine…
‘Twas nice indeed to get home!
Elsewhere in Lingland, I did write this last night:
“…Definitely not a nice normal 4am. But things could always be worse!
Most excellent day, I will admit. Honorable Son 1 is now off to early college; Honorable Son 2 completed his 3d Printing camp at Digipen and will be returning in a few days. Perhaps I will spend some time on the West Coast later on; it all depends upon how my surgeon doc visit goes on Monday (ideally I will find out if/when surgery can be done to remove the almost certainly 100% benign tumor in my left arm bone).
Plus! I spent a few hours today watching the History Channel’s documentary about the auto industry and remembered again how seeing the Ford Museum in 2006 inspired me (wow, 11 years ago). Back then, I had taken the concept of assembly lines and applied it to some marketing ideas… years later, I created some templates I could mix/match/structure in any way I wanted, and life was good. I never did take it to the limits I had envisioned, however.
But now, well, now seems like a good time to revisit those ideas! Not only is the future always in motion BUT life is so damned random these days as well (witness the death at the Charlottesville protest, the terror attacks that can strike at any time, any moment)….
You know, the only thing about tomorrow is that it’s never promised.
So if you want to achieve greatness during *your* life, the best time to start is NOT tomorrow…
It’s *today*.
As it should be.

I really wish I had more exciting things to report.
But…. helped him shop yesterday, took the husband out to lunch and realized…
Life is getting to be just too random at times (aka the terrorist attack in Spain, the politics here in the States, etc.)
It’s really depressing at times. However, all we can do is push forward….

Don’t forget yesterdays:
Where was I?
Ah yes, Thursday.
Alas, Chomp, the runt MiceyMoose, didn’t pull thru the night. 🙁
Yesterday I held her in my housecoat for an hour:
I think the chomps her cagemates did to her almost 2 weeks ago got infected. 🙁
I did bunches of meds and the like but life happens.
She was born to be fed to a snake, so at least she had 8 months of a ‘way better life.
I buried her in the forest by my house.

And yesterday, when I woke up feeling more alive….
An hour later, smoosh.
So last night I wrote:

So! Today, I woke up past 7am and felt grand!
Went to the gym but after only half my usual time…
… it was back to being weaker than a newborn mooselet.
ARGH!
I SO HATE THAT!!
But you know….
Life *is* and the Universe doesn’t give a damn whether you hate it or not.
You might not be able to control what happens to you….
… but you can damned well control how you *choose* to react.
And yep, I get it.
Sometimes it’s *tough* not to knee-jerk.
And blame someone else.
Anyone else.
But the fact is….
You own your own body, and sometimes, life just really isn’t that fair.
And get this:
The Universe doesn’t care how non-fair it is to you!
You HAVE to live in your own body and live your own life.
So you have 2 choices.
Whine about how unfair life is…
… or *accept* what has happened and see how you can regroup and rebound.
I choose to accept what has happened and I also choose to regroup and rebound.
So after napping for an hour or so, I revisited some of my past products…
… and bunches of Sean Mize’s past products….
… and Dennis Becker’s contributions to IBU…
And started (keyword there is STARTED) on crafting templates for a 4 product funnel.
Why?
Because should my nonoptimalness get more as opposed to less…
… at least I still have my templates I can rely upon to keep business growing!
(Insert “woohoo!’ here)
Side note – bunches of people always would make fun of Sean Mize’s retirement sales and the like…..
That never stopped other people from buying the content.
==> His work is brilliant. It really is.
And it’s a huge shame how so few people take advantage of what he produced.
But I digress.
So! Your takeaway from it all?
Lots of times, you simply cannot control the flyballs life lobs in your general direction. Much like coconuts, you know, especially when you’re bangin’ ’em together. After you’ve sent the African and European swallows on their way.
But you *can* choose to control how you regroup and rebound.
