Where was I?
Ah yes, Sunday!
Oh my flapping earlobes.
I’m writing this at 1:30am or so, having not yet gone to bed. 🙁
Why, I hear you ask?
Well, today was YACBDitLoBTL!
(yet another character building day in the life of BTL, aka yours truly!)
See, Saturday morning had me with the husband at his chiro appointment. And here’s how I described it:
“….Character-building is idly watching your spouse go thru chiro treatment and doing acupressure on yourself… and then noticing that hey! Right by the new pain point in shoulder, the tendons seem to be getting caught on something (aka a previously un-noticed exostoses).
Wheee!
Proceeded to *almost* go into throw-myself-off-the-cliff mode except Honorable Son 1 mentioned, Mom, you’re doing it again. I know you’re scared but wait and see what the reality IS before panicking.
So cool for HS1. It halted my emotional ride and I’m back into product creation mode.
Will schedule another ortho doc visit next week and see what’s up with that.
Coffee?”
So! That was the glorious morning. Hopefully will get an MRI scheduled this week and we will see.
Took the kids out with the husband:
(Honorable Son 1 went to this particular restaurant the day before, and yep… ’twas yummy indeed).
Then during the afternoon, HS2 built up a grand new CC enclosure for Mo, the Amazing Mowing PiggyMoose! I’ll have to share that image tomorrow, as I neglected to take an after picture (and like I said, it’s the wee hours of Sunday morning here), but take what you will from my FB updates:
“Facebook chose today to show me some memories of the past years…
… time back when things were ‘way different.
It really brought home to me how you truly must be grateful for every moment of life that you’re above ground…
… because even when life looks like hell, there still is tomorrow that has yet to be written.
And you know what I feel when I look at those pix when I could run, jump, karateize and all that jazz?
Really really…. happy.
Happy because I had those times!
Your takeaway?
Life really IS what you choose to make of it.
The Universe doesn’t care if you’re happy, sad or whatever…
It will just keep happily evolving with or without you.
But! Given you still have to live within said Universe, it’s up to you how you choose to deal with it.
Don’t look for others to make you happy… give yourself permission to move forward all on your own.
Mourn if you must, what you have lost due to age/illness/lack of coffee/etc….
… and then honor the greatness within you by moving forward to the best of your abilities.

“Such a roller coaster day.
I think at the end of it all, my main feeling is gratitude. True, this morning did see bunches of arm-falling-off however… that *did* lead to me seeing Honorable Son 1 take charge and help me *not* get overwhelmed with despair (so yay there!).
The husband and I then took the boys out for lunch which was quite a lot of fun. After that, Honorable Son 2 built Mo the Amazing Mowing PiggyMoose a new 2 level cage in my office. Best part of that? It involved several activities that needed to be coordinated simultaneously; in the past, HS2 would have totally given up (sensory overload). But because Mo was depending upon him, he pushed himself through it all and made it happen.
This is hugely massive because he pulled himself out of a spiraling anguish. I would say he is growing grandly these days.
Later on, the husband made me an arm sling. And much to my surprise, it actually seems to help a lot! Fancy that. We’ll see how the doctor appointment goes next week.
Launch-wise, customers are loving the Buy Buttons Part II case study… so yay there as well!
Saw memories from other folks from my past from times long long long ago… and instead of feeling regret that such times will never come again (aka physical health, being able to walk without creaking 23 time, etc.etc.etc.), I felt gratitude that I experienced those good times so well.
And tomorrow the sun shall rise yet again.
Remember: someday, all you will be is just a memory to others.
Do your best to make your impact on the ones you love… both lasting and memorable.

OK, so yesterday…. quite the earlobe I would say.
Doing better pain-wise (well okay that’s a lie). Apparently my family informed me that I make weird faces when it hurts. So going to try and be more aware of that.
Took the kids to the NJ Japanese Market Mitsua (‘way north) and yay, great time was had by all! True, I wish they had wanted to spend more time than 15 minutes or so, but I was glad I could leave soon so I could return home to verify today’s 9am launch:
