That might be lesser known…. but did you know that bunches of companies are building *services* on top of *a* Blockchain?
First, of course, let’s talk a bit about what the Blockchain is.
Think of an electronic ledger (compared to the 34858937 pages in an accounting ledger from the early 1900s) that *everyone* can check (ie, total transparency).
Alternatively, you can think of Grandma.

So! Services can be built on top of blockchains.

What about advertising?

Teenagers.
Just dropped Kid #3 off at the airport for the college summer.
Had big long huge massive talks with said kid….
…. and I do remember my earlier years being just as angst-filled.
I have total faith in the kid but yep….
Parenting is not for the faint of heart.
Today I will be giving myself permission to hide under the covers and emerge only when caffeine calls.
Okay that’s a lie, I’ll be checking on kid’s trip via airplane… but you know what I mean.

It’s Saturday!
What a day yesterday.
Thing is:
The fine art of listening.
Sometimes it’s tough for family members to communicate.
And sometimes when they do communicate, they screw it up bigtime.
Had a big huge long talk for 2 hours with Kid #3.
It went well…. but yep…..
Was extremely character building.
Parenting is not for the faint of heart.
And then my youngest called me up at around 11:30pm – school issues that will probably cause a roommate or 3 to get suspended.
You’d think that boarding schools wouldn’t have these problems, but I suppose if they’re even less mature than college students…
Dumb things get done. 🙁
Today I will be taking kid #3 all over the place before shipping him off to the West Coast for summer college.
And maybe even (dare I think)… resting!
