Ah yes!
It’s Thursday!
Actually gnope – it’s still Wednesday around 6pm.
And today’s topic of the day is “teeny.”
Can you say that? “Teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeny.”
As in, teeny tiny ways in which human beans can show their humanity, idjut-like though it might be.
The thing about hitting rock bottom at times… the only way one can then go, is up.
But the challenge is when others choose to judge people without having walked in their shoes. I spent a good portion of yesterday helping some folks thru some things… and the big challenges there were helping them “get inside their heads”, so to say… so they could strip away what other people expected of them, and instead, focus on what their *true* goals really were.
Exhausting stuff. Rewarding… but exhausting.
Your takeaway?
The only person you are capable of truly judging is yourself. Quite often, you have zero clue as to what is really going on in people’s lives… when they choose not to share.
A very powerful lesson indeed.

Ah yes!
It’s Wednesday!
Actually gnope – it’s still Tuesday around 9pm or so.
Its amazing the amounts of ways we, as human beans, can truly f*ck ourselves up, you know?
Let’s just say (I think that’s now the, what, 83748973th time I’ve written that over the past 20 years or so of blogging) that sometimes, you really DO have to go thru the utter sh*t life throws at you, so you can appreciate when things are starting to look better.
I will state that the vast majority of the day was spent in bedrest, working on my laptop. Had some issues to deal with which were dealt (profundities, thy name is Ling) but after coming to some good conclusions…. I think tomorrow should be quite better indeed.
Plus, I wrote:
“=-=-= What Courage can ALSO be =-=-=
One of my favorite phrases in life is:
“Courage consists of hanging on, one minute longer.”
And then one minute longer after *that*.
And so and so on.
You know what ELSE courage can be?
It can be the willingness to actually talk stuff out, even if by doing so, it causes you agonizingly painful flashbacks or a fresh bout of self doubt…
You know what i mean, right?
*You don’t take the easy way out.*
Instead… you choose to confront whatever issues are currently stopping you from moving on.
And make no mistake about that….
It can be hell roasted over vaporized marshmallows to *take* that step.
Your takeaway?
Never let *anyone* minimize something that costs you dear to achieve.
And recognize that sometimes a big act of personal courage can begin from the simple words:
“Let’s talk.”
Whatcha think? And what’s your favorite way of healing old wounds?”
“One of the worst things about having zero walls against someone important in your life…
… you have zero defenses and you end up totally obliterated.
Best way to respond: Blast “American Pie” on repeat (my f*ck it all tune whose purpose is to remind me that even if the music dies… I remain).
