Remember that utterly grand Staples Back to School commercial of 1996.. the Most Wonderful Time of the Year?

has a grand article about it, and how you can pivot grandly from Amazon Prime Day to the finals of the Back to School shopping days. The following cute little factoid is most interesting indeed:
“…Especially this year, because the National Retail Federation estimates that 2019 will see the most amount of spending ever during the back-to-school shopping season.
Families with K-12 students will be spending an average of $696.70 per household (the highest ever), even though total spending will be slightly down from 2018. Why?
