Today is Thursday morning and first:

So.  Where was I?

Ah yes.  Thursday morning.  Had a lousy night, woke up from a nightmare, and simply want to hide from the rest of the world for, oh, I don’t know, 3 centuries?

I guess my dad’s passing, 12 days ago, is finally catching up to me.

So, will probably spend the day with family/etc. and wait it out.  Ever feel like your whole existence is a mass of grey?

That be me right now.

I know that this too shall pass, so…. it will pass!

In other LingLand adventures, one kid decided that a new dog would be spiffy!  This is ignoring the fact we already have 2 mooses.  Sigh.  Sometimes the world has to say NO to you, kid… it’s life.

Life doesn’t pad its corners.

Where was I?

Ah yes, Wednesday morning!  Yesterday, I took Moose Minor to the vet and it cost more than a kids’ checkup.  Sigh.  Still, though, it was good to check – MM has a fatty lump under his belly skin and it should just dissolve.  Kids are quite relieved as am I.

Moose Major, of course, is ‘way too regal to allow any such developments.  He snored most of the day away.

In other Lingland news, it’s been 2.5 weeks since I dropped off my kid for pre-college!  Can’t believe in 10 days, I’ll be making the 5 hour trip once more.  It treated her quite well and I hope to get my boys doing that next year too.

‘Sides that, I’m revisiting my templates that went down in a flaming heap ‘o glory 3 weeks ago… my gosh, it’s always scary to make yourself learn something new!!   But I’ll get thru ’em.
