Slogged my way to the gym yesterday and wow, was it an effort. 🙁
But hey, I’m above ground still so yay!
And have you noticed a trend towards snarkyness these days?
Here’s what I posted yesterday:
“It takes the same amount of effort to be kind as to be snarky.
It truly baffles me why anyone would want to proactively be a jerk/spread negativity/etc.
The future is always in motion. Here’s a novel thought – make that motion create something *positive* instead of being a tweeblehead.

I just don’t get it. 🙁
But ’tis their lives.
Did take the husband out for a great Indian restaurant meal (yay there) and did get in touch with tax folk for finishing up my taxes so there’s that.
Wow. I’m a wealth of excitement these days.

Massive parenting fail on my part, yesterday. Suffice it to say, my youngest got stuck into his tunnel vision route, and because I was in extreme pain at that moment, I basically shut down all conversations. 🙁
Apparently my other kids pitched in later last night and things are back to normal. Still, though, ….
Blah. Hate it when that happens.
So.totally.blah.today.
However, in other Lingland news, I did make an awesome steak stirfry for dinner which the kids managed to ignore. Yay part II. Methinks I am going to go on strike – kids want dinner, they’re old enough themselves now to make it themselves.
Yep, I’ve reached the point where you take Mom’s efforts for granted… you lose ’em.
