Gotta love waking up to realize your yesterday’s Daily Morning Perkup wasn’t set up right. Sigh.
Ah well, life happens.
And today! How was your Independence Day celebration if you celebrated it?
Me, I’m lucky enough that the kids no longer want to go to fireworks, however, DID manage to stay awake to watch them on TV!
To wit:

But! I did get to the gym (even if there wasn’t any electricity:)

Where was I?
Ah yes, Tuesday!
Today is Independence Day in the USA.
More important for me, it’s the 2 year anniversary since my dad passed away (he died at around 1:30am on July 4th).
So….
This time of year is always bittersweet to me.
I vividly remember that time 2 years ago – then, like now, I spent several days sharing “treasure what you have because you never know when it will be just a memory” images.
Oh, and rainbows too. Starting tomorrow, my FB wall will have lots of rainbows.
However, I did keep my tradition up. 4 days after my dad passed away, I asked myself, what would my folks do during tough time (Dad was an entrepreneur) and the answer was, the show must go on!
And I then whipped up 5 new products for Amazon Prime Day and Amazon in general.

Yesterday was a rather nice quiet day, I will admit.
The Beak of Doom was feeling pretty:

And I came across this from 5 years ago:

And someone posted this to my wall:
“I want to commend Barb on the great job she has done in organizing the account she and Dennis Becker took over from Sean Mize.
I already owned a lot of Sean’s products before Barb and Dennis got involved – and I can tell you there is a ton of stuff there.
This weekend I decided to organize the products I purchased from Sean. I didn’t realize how much I had – and let me tell you, it is massive. I can’t imagine how Barb broke that stuff down and repackaged it to sell. What a time-consuming, logistical nightmare!
I’m still trying to figure out how one person could generate all those products! I don’t even want to think about the prospect of trying to inventory it and repackage it.
Kudos to you, Barb Ling!”
