Insanity.
Sheer. Total. Insanity.
Is my life.
Yesterday, the husband and I took our my sister in law/husband out for lunch! But first, behold The Court Jester Moose and his tough life:

And I did some work on the latest Dennis and Barb launch:
That will be coming soon! I got up at 3am yesterday to make things happen… and then got up today to do the same. SO MUCH WORK but the good news is, If I can pull it off… I will have excellent templates I can use for future launches.
It’s worth the pain.

Today’s rant is about not being an entitled ass! Yeah, I said it… and this must be addressed.
2 days ago, I received an email from a guy who signed up for my gifts site. He just had one line in his email – “Give me log in or return my f*#King dollar”
He actually spelled out the word without the *# … I’m being kind to you.
This is a major error. I’m not nice like April Lemarr or patient like Tiffany Lambert. Bringing me attitude like this is NEVER a good idea. We live in times where everybody thinks that the world owes them a living.
I set up the gifts site to help the list out… not to deal with keyboard warriors. I booted this clown off my list and asked him to send me the transaction ID so I could refund his miserable dollar.
See… if you need help, be polite and I’ll bend backwards to help you. If you try to be nasty, I’ll sort you out real quick. I’m not one of those guys who believes that the customer is always right.
Now, let’s talk about another guy. He sent me a support ticket “no access info received for order below” and gave me his PayPal transaction ID.
My reply – “Hello, you’ll need to log into your JVZoo customer portal to access the download. Log in here: customer.jvzoo.com/portal/purchases – If you still can’t get it, reply this ticket and I’ll sort it out.”
And he sends me this – “guys pls, I would not ask if I could download from jvzoo, it is not provided in purchases, that’s the case…”
I reply – “Hello, I can’t find your transaction. I’ll need details. The day you purchased it, the ID, etc. Thanks.”
His reply is this – “they did not sent anything, all I have is data from paypal I sent you with ticket. Check your paypal and please provide download or refund asap. If there is an error of paypal jvzoo integration it’s not my problem dude…”
See… another major mistake. I’m trying to help this guy out and he’s being an ass… and he still hasn’t told me the date of his purchase… and I need this detail.
Let’s be clear here – things online don’t always work smoothly. There will always be glitches every now and then. No excuse to give me attitude….”

Parenting is truly a hero’s journey, you know?
I’ve been in contact with my youngest’s teachers over at boarding school…
And while I do NOT want to be a helicopter parent, I *do* want my youngest to achieve to the best of his abilities.
So its a fine line I’ve been walking.
It’s much easier for me than for my husband, because I have the same tendencies my youngest has (he inherited them from me) so I *get* how he is, and I don’t worry about any drama that might ensue.
I am trying to help my husband realize that… it’s getting there.
And my sister-in-law and brother in law are visiting!
They drove up around 700 miles. Alas, they received the wrong NJ exit information (an adventure!) but eventually made it here in the evening.
I was flattened by then, so I let my husband take them out. We’ll probably take them for Hot Pot today.

Don’t forget yesterdays:
Where was I?
Ah yes, Tuesday!
Yesterday was a day of big chewy earlobes indeed.
Massive chewy earlobes.
It started off with my taking the husband to get his hand all unbandaged.
Warning, the picture is of the traintrack on his hand so view at your discretion:
That part was grand – the surgeon did a magnificent job!
But while driving up….
I got a call from my youngest at boarding school. Turns out that in class that morning, he was asked, what happened during the weekend, and he mentioned some bullying stuff….
And guidance got involved.
That was fine, but my husband went all PapaBear…. and decided that as we were 30 minutes away anyways (the surgeon), we would drive up to chat with him.
So we did! It was a total of 190+ miles I drove yesterday.
The food at the school, btw, is Gourmet with a Capital G. SO GOOD!
Got home at 2:30pm, got emails queued, and then it was time for my Physical Therapy:
My PT is so professional and so superb. Really happy with him!
But I will admit, I was flattened with a capital F.
Went to bed at 6pm.
Doing more alive now so yay!
