It’s Thursday!
Basically worked from bedrest most of the day yesterday – it was NOT a good day at all 🙁
Granted, I should take ownership of lots of that – I didnt take care of myself as I should have. 🙁
Very maddening, I will tell you that.
And you know how I kept things going?

So! Today as I alluded to was a total wash on my part (well, not total, did get images done, did get writing done, did counsel a great friend of mine, did lots of things that alas weren’t the usual 49576947 hours I manage to pack into one day).
Still, though, there WAS one tail of unwanted kindness.
And it belonged to the Kingly Moose, who wanted to make sure I didn’t miss a second of this glorious more-painful-than-unsweetened Nerds candy day…
… by waiting for me to doze and then thump his tail against the mirror.
Now, Kingly Mooses are generally moose-size (she said, providing you with her 73462th exaggeration of the day)... so it stands to reason their tails could whack over a wrecking ball. Add to that his old-man snores (think a decible level greater than a 2nd grade concert of molten diagonal baked goods)….
… and sleep became something more elusive than a politician’s truth.

True, this day was a grand exercise in piecemeal work.
I did more work on the latest launch and realized much to my dismay, I did NOT have 332 upsells/crosssells/downsells. 
So more has to be done there (I’ actually thinking of perhaps decreasing them greatly from 332 to 331, which would be a definite step outside my comfort zone).
So what’s your takeaway from it all?
*ALL* the work above was done bit by bit by bit by bit by bit by bit by bit by bit by bit by bit by bit by bit by bit by bit by bit by bit by bit. I know myself well enough to realize that zombie-mode is great for not-intensive tasks (aka image creation, buy button placeholders, sketching out JV page and the like)….
But by accepting me own knowledge of me own lack , it *helps* me:
* Take care of myself
while
* Getting stuff done
Sure. There might be big glaring mistakes committed but I can always revisit everything tomorrow to fix ’em up grand!
Thus, when sick, drop the attitude that:
* all needs to be accomplished RIGHT NOW
* everything has to be PERFECT
* you cannot do ANYTHING workwise
Why? Because the future is always in motion….
… and you know yourself best.
Treat yourself that way, as well.

However, today seems so far to be going in the right direction, so yay. 🙂
Going to take things quiet but ideally… effective.

Except NJ had a flooding and a tornado warning around me.
We’re lucky, though… it didn’t hit my area.
And! The interview my kid went on? The kid got the job! Love seeing a desire to earn one’s own money. You’d think that one of my kids would have seen the benefits of marketing online but gnope – only my youngest can appreciate it but still, no real desire to do it. 🙁
Ah well, I suppose it comes with experience. So we’ll see.
