At … 1:45am!
In a nutshell, wheeeeee.
Yesterday was most, ahem, the opposite of fun indeed.
Due to a massive snafu, I had to return to Best Buy to exchange a phone.
Now, BestBuy had told me on 12/24/18 (ie, Christmas Eve) that I should just simply go to Verizon to get things fixed.
However, I took an educated guess that the info I was given… was *wrong*.
So I lined up outside the store at around…. 8:45am (33 degrees outside) and what should have taken, perhaps, ended up taking an hour and 15 minutes but yay….
Finally got it done!
Spent the rest of the day finalizing the latest launch by Dennis and me:
This goodie is structured ‘WAY differently than our past launches…
*Every* component stands on its own, and is a collection of ‘other’ gems you might find interesting at such a grand discount.
Methinks you’ll find it most excellent indeed!
In other news, we might be hosting a foreign student before college starts… should be an interesting adventure indeed.

“This weekend is a time of great joy and happiness for beeyillions of people worldwide.
If you are having the time of your life, that is most glorious indeed and should be celebrated with copious amounts of your favorite beverage like coffee.
However, beeeeeyons of other people are approaching this time having suffered:
* The loss of a loved one
* The smooshing of a relationship
* The betrayal by a friend
* The loss of a job
* The (fill in with a negative action) of,by a (fill in with something once treasured)
etc.etc.etc.
Thus, I, your most Royal Highness, present you with the following challenge.
If you are one of the happy peeps, yay! Take some time to proactively reach out to someone you know who is smooshilated or ickified or beating themselves up or… you know what I mean…
… and do NOT wish them a Happy Holiday, instead, let them know you’re thinking of them.
Perhaps follow up with something you value about them.
That is all. It’s not too much effort. A simple “Hey there, thinking about you, thank you so much for being my friend this past year!”
You simply cannot underestimate the sheer positive emotions such goodwill will generate.
And having done so, you’ll have contributed to the joy and happiness of the holiday season.
When you’re done reading this, think back to what you’ve seen during the past few days/weeks/etc. and who stands out for having experienced the opposite of laughter and glee.
And then simply send the above message to them.
It will take you less than a minute…. but the benefits could mean the difference between someone being sunk in despair this holiday weekend… and someone who chooses to pull themselves up and *out.*

Got up ‘way late again.
It’s, what 7:30am? Xmas Eve day. Ideally all shopping has been done… I hope so for you too!
And boy did I lose my cool yesterday with my youngest.
In my defense, it was totally obvious to any kid that didn’t have NVLD and could buy social clues.
In my NOT defense, I totally f*cked up because I possibly expected more than the kid was able to do.
So I will apologize today; live and learn.
‘Sides that, OMG…. the amount of nonoptimalness that is smooshing me is insane.
Going to drive to the college where Kid3 is at for Xmas Day (Kid3 is cat sitting for roommates, so cannot come home).
And that is fine. But methinks I will have a convo with him and the other kids before that drive happens.
The fact is, even if you’re so freakin’ sick of your kids doing the unexpected… they’re still your kids AND… they’re on their own personal hero’s journey towards their own personal greatness.
Hard to remember sometimes.
