Your Tuesday Morning Perkup – 1866, I left. And! Video goodness, Book goodness and…

Good morning!

It’s Tuesday morning and I am not in NJ anymore.  Nope, I left.  The husband gave me my Mother’s Day gift early … I was supposed to arrive at University on Thursday to bring home our eldest, but he suggested I leave yesterday to have some time by myself.

So!  93847583975 miles later and I’m here in the hotel lobby, quietly working on my laptop.  Skyped with the kids, the husband is holding down the fort, and I’m slowing down massively.  Still on call if I’m needed back home, but I now have 3 days to myself to get stuff done.  Last time that happened – 2 years ago at the San Diego marketing convention?

One neat thing which you’ll see on my FB profile – when I came down to the lobby (my eldest decided to study for finals in my room), the night auditor recognized me and immediately brought out 2 cups of coffee (I’m now on cup number 3 and 4).  So all in all… good stuff.
