Okay, perhaps the 1100 miles I drove over the weekend… *might* finally be catching up to me.
My birthday yesterday was very relaxing – basically took care of the family and decided that today would be rest day!
Thing is… well, here’s what I wrote.

So! Excellent, restful birdieDay yesterday… well, okay, after 6pm it was, that is. I spent most of the day taking care of family and figured today… I’d have for me.
Woke up and discovered… get up and go…. definitely has gotten up and went. So the me time will be spent most likely in an elevate-the-ankle-prone position. These things happen.
I did dedicate some time yesterday to pondering my life, you know. Over the years, I’ve had tremendous successes and made spectacular fails… the kinds that would make Hollywood clap with glee if they could ever secure the PLR rights to them! Magnificently ridiculous choices.. things that I wish today I could simply erase from my past.
But honestly … that’s not quite true either.
Every single glorious stupidity I might have created…..
… was simply one more stepping stone/springboard to me leveling up and becoming the rather magnificent individual I am today.
Sure.. I wish I could have evolved into “me” *without* those tremendously crushing idjutnesses…..
… but me also thinks….
… Going thru those insanities were … necessary… to make me into who I am today.
That’s one reason why yesterdays Self Confidence topic “Each day I accept what doesn’t kill me… builds my character and my strength” was uniquely timely. Go figure.

… Stuff and mistakes you made in the past….
… You really need to let them go.
After all, the past is over and done with…
… and you never can change it at all.
So instead of beating yourself up about stuff you’ve done in the past…
… give yourself permission to take the lessons from it that you were meant to learn…
… and then just let.it.go.
And then make your future great.

Don’t forget yesterdays:
Where was I? Ah yes, Monday!
OMG. What a weekend. My apologies for missing yesterday’s morning Perkup – on Saturday I embarked with my kids to rescue my youngest who was stranded in South Carolina. To make a long story short, Amtrak’s website is wrong – they do NOT allow kids on their trains if it’s dark outside.
My kid’s departure time was 4am….
… and they refused him entry. 🙁
So! Packed everyone into the Moosemobile and started driving. End result: 1100 miles in total, picked up kid yesterday at 4:30am, turned right around and started driving back.
Woot! What an adventure!
Today is my birdieDay as well – I’m 29! Okay, perhaps a bit more. 🙂 Going to ideally have a nice quiet day… I’ve certainly earned it.
