Good morning!

It’s Tuesday morning and one of my kids had a cultural identity question – as you might know, my husband is Asian, I am a mutt (mainly Caucasian) and it seems like these days, kids want to belong to *one* race.

So! Woke up the kid this morning at 5am, and we went on an adventure that ended up (of course) at Starbucks. Got the kid the fav vanilla latte, and then we sat in the MooseMobile, talking about heritage and the benefits of having multiple cultures to learn from.

I wanted to ensure that the next time someone throws the kids heritage in the face, the kid is equipped to say, thank you for your input! So sad you’re that one-dimensional.

I think it was accomplished, yay!

It’s Monday morning and yep… what a weekend! Hope your Moms day was grand if you celebrate it – I had to postpone mine to deal with Angsting Children. Wheeee! Still, though, ’twas a lesson that was learned for them…. and I think it will benefit them as the days go by.

But yep…. not *quite* the moms day I was expecting! 🙂

My eldest is back home and has re-integrated with our insanity quite nicely. Went to the gym together over the weekend… I foresee a grand summer indeed.
