Ah yes Monday!
The plain fact of it all…
I’m not doing too well. 🙁
Lots of it has to do with overdoing stuff earlier….
…. but things could always be worse.
The husband and I have a flu shot scheduled for today.
And most likely, that’s just about all. Wheeee.
And remember what I had mentioned yesterday:
Sure, I did get Deal of the Day, but it didn’t work as I had hoped (I built it via templates).
So I wrote:
“So! The big personal reveal.
It has to do with comparing yourself to others…. and why that is utterly, totally… a Very Unwise Thing To Do.
As you might know, this week, I and Dennis Becker released Google Profits for Marketers.
And there’s more than 350+ sales in the funnel!
Which is wonderful.
Thing is, I myself… well, I was disappointed in the results.
Why?
Because I had built the 5 products that are inside the funnel… via a new set of templates.
And I had specific goals I wanted to achieve….
… which, alas, I missed.
That’s all there is to it, really.
Everyone else who sees the launch says, woohoo what a success!
But I said…. oh well, back to the drawing board.
So what’s so personal about my reveal?
Well, sometimes you know how people generally show their highlight reel on FB?
As in everything is Magical Ponies and fresh-ground coffee?
That’s not me.
And I am comfortable in saying – even if a launch does well…. if it didn’t meet *my* personal goals…. well then, I have to level up.
In other words:
I don’t waste time comparing myself to ANYONE ELSE on FB *except*….
… the person I was the day before.
Your takeaway?
Do the same.
Ignore the posturings and enviable posts/etc. you might see on FB…
… and instead, set yourself to compete against the person you were the day before.
Your bottom line (and sanity!) will thank you for it.

Ah yes Sunday!
You might have noticed how I did not write a newsletter yesterday. 🙁
That’s because yesterday, I was out by 4am or so… and got home at 4pm.
Almost 12 hours!
Drove up to MA to pick up Kid #3.
Then visited Kid #4.
That’s the Tappenzee Bridge.
Wheeeeeee
And by the time 5:40pm rolled around, I was down and out for the count.
But there WAS good news – got Deal of the Day!

So I’m now ever upwards and onwards. Kid #3 is home but methinks said kid will want to hang out with friends only so that is fine.
More time with the husband!
And I learned something big a few days ago:

And the next day I basically hid from the world, because I was so disappointed in myself.
