Hellish day yesterday.
Only way to describe it.
And I have only myself to blame.

Yesterday I managed to totally build up stuff in my mind.
Methinks part of that was due to 1.) Premenopause (I wish it would just get itself over with) and 2.) Hormones and 3.) repeat steps 1 and 2.
Blah.
So I wrote last night:
“So one of the things I learned today is:
The future is always unwritten.
And when you need downtime, there is nothing wrong with simply declaring, I want my downtime….and I want it *now*.
I’ve made a bit more peace with myself with it all. Somethings might take longer to process but that is okay.
One cannot change the past….
… but one *can* revisit said past by talking it out, apologizing where needed, and realizing that in almost all cases…
Everyone really does the very best they can with what they bring to the table.
The understanding my kids/husband showed me during my graceful miniMeltDown was hugely appreciated and helped a lot….
… and the private PMs sent by friends as well were truly grand. Thank you all!
I really am quite blessed.

The thing is…
Mangoes.
Prior to collapsing in a heap, the husband and I had a date at Costco…. and he insisted on picking up a box of mangoes.

In other news, I’ve been helping out several folk now on the quiet.
And I wrote up how I did it:
“Have you ever wanted to comfort someone who, for whatever reason, didn’t want it?
Perhaps they aren’t ready to face their own scenario, or they’re hurting too much, or they have too much pride, or one of the bazillion other reasons folks will give when all seems lost.
If you ever find yourself in the position of wanting to help but didn’t know how to go about it, here’s a suggestion for Facebook:
Post pictures/videos of something that will resonate with the individual in question.
Chances are, said individual will see it *and* appreciate it (even if no mention is ever made of it in the future).
Some people have too much pride and refuse to be seen as weak (luckily, I myself am NOT that person whatsoever. 
)
Other people simply cannot wrap their mind over what the “present” really is and cannot fathom acknowledging this fact or the future.
Still others choose to bear their pain/grief/whatever in solitude.
Whatever.
By posting something that will raise their spirits even the slightest bit, you will have reached out in a way that is 140% non-threatening….
… and who knows.
Perhaps in the future, the person in question might be finally willing to share whatever burdens they were/are under.
In any event… giving the gift of laughter, smiles and hope for the future….
… it’s a very good thing indeed.

Being happy for others!
Over the past few days, I was helping out another person who told me he was jealous of other people’s successes in some things… because he didn’t any of that himself.
I can totally relate.
The thing is….
… when folks do NOT go the way you deserve….
You have 2 courses of action open to you.
One – cry that the world is unfair.
Actually, I highly recommend grieving when things don’t go your way.
And when that is done….
… give yourself permission to be *happy* for the individual where things DID go their way!!
That happened to me yesterday.
My magnificent launch….
I neglected to let lots of affiliates know about it. 🙁
So another of my colleagues got Deal of the Day.
And what’s the first thing I did when realizing that?
I publicly congratulated him!
Why did I do this?
Because even if I didn’t… he did! And has most definitely earned it big…
