Yep. I am SO NOT FEELING IT.
I mean my get up and go, not only got up and went, its currently ‘way out in the atmosphere right now.
Methinks this is a result of dealing with the drama of all 4 kids at home….
They’ll be leaving tomorrow at 4am.
Which means I’ll have to queue up my content, because I’ll be returning home, say, 1pm or so (take some kids to airport, my youngest to boarding school….)
An exciting life, I will admit.

Okay let’s stop that.

* Bye bye goes the Influencer Market
* More Conversational User Interfaces (think Chatbots, Alexa, etc.)
* Video Marketing
and the like.
Of course, one would never have predicted the rise of:
Spinners
Pokemon
etc., but those are physical trends and not marketing trends.
During this past year, I *have* seen chatbot usage grow (and it makes sense if you’re a marketer as well and share JV announcements – I find myself opening those of others… note to self, start one yourself!)
Augmented reality is something that started growing back in 2016 (due to Pokemon) and 2017 was supposed to see it grow big.
Perhaps 2018 as predicted above!

You know, I love my kids.
But OMG, their ideas are so …. *different* …. than mine.
And I have always tried teaching my kids, listen to the message behind the words, as often, the words cause people to totally shut down.
So yep, very character-building day yesterday was.
