Ever wake up one morning and think to yourself:
“Jeepers self, SO much of my affiliate marketing business (like all) depends upon me being credited with the sale, which requires cookies with my ID to stay on the buyer’s computer (read: in the browser).
What if the browser companies took over and decided only THEY can choose what cookies to store?”
Granted, now, true.
Most folks don’t wake up like that but intrepid brave-hearted people like you might want to consider such a thing!
That’s why it’s SO important to be aware of (and be sure to return once you’ve checked out this article for more powerful resources that are waiting for you):

“Last week Google announced it would end support for third-party cookies in Chrome by 2022 or sooner. Google said it would use its “Privacy Sandbox” as an arena to develop alternatives for ad targeting and conversion tracking.”
Now, true, there IS a question as to whether places like

Nanacast
could be considered “3rd party cookies”.
Thing is….
Given the way the world is moving, I personally wouldn’t be surprised if some year, browser companies truly do crumble all the cookies you want your customers to save.
So….
What to do?
Well! It’s kinda sorta obvious – you must grow your own brand so that you do not have to rely UPON affiliate marketing to support your family!
And how do you do that?
Well, lots of ways I suppose…. but the thing I personally would consider is to offer value via a recurring membership site.
The topic of recurring membership sites is something you could use yourself as a powerful blueprint or blog topic – you could structure it like:
Step 1.) Decide what value you’d like to offer AS a membership site
Step 2.) Decide how you will deliver the content
Step 3.) Build in customer referrals and turn it on!

Yep, it is Wednesday!
My apologies for missing…. a whole lotta days.
Let’s just say the word of the day is…
Character-building!
Yes indeed. I was away from the office from Friday until … yesterday.
I cannot go into bunches of details but suffice it to say – MamaBear emerged, MamaBear fought…
… and alas, in some of it, MamaBear lost.
If anything, this will go down in the Ling family as, when life steamrollers over you, you fight.
And if you lose, that’s okay.
You regroup, rebound and make the future glorious.
I should be around now for the rest of the year… we’ll see.
I greatly appreciate all who emailed me to ask how I am doing (this is the first time, I believe, since I *started* daily newsletters that I missed soooo much.
It’s funny, you know? Prior to the final conversation, I had a talk with myself in the bathroom mirror, and told myself, You are MamaBear. You will fight. You will do for your family that which wasn’t done for you at that time.
Well. I did all of the above and…. still lost.
But I’ve internalized – that’s okay. Because the future is always unwritten.
And I will write it grand.
Oh, and about that miscommunication with my spouse that I had written about on whenever?
We both resolved it (like we always do) on the following day.
Over 25 years we’ve been married… and it was the best decision I ever made.

But in the evening, I had to separate my tasks so I could get them all done at once. One window was set for updating ‘profit stuff’ for 19 different industries; that was copy/pasted into my gmail message (so I can update it first thing in the morning).
Divide and conquer! My motto for the day!
