Ever hear of Bitcoin?
I know I know, that’s generally like saying, ever hear of Burger King these days….
But there IS one key issue you should be aware of, marketing-wise.
And what’s that?
Well, it’s what Bitcoin *rides* on top of, kinda sorta maybe a little bit.
It’s called the “blockchain” and in technospeak its:
“A blockchain, originally block chain, is a growing list of records, called blocks, that are linked using cryptography. Each block contains a cryptographic hash of the previous block, a timestamp, and transaction data. By design, a blockchain is resistant to modification of the data.” (Thankyou Wiki over at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blockchain !)
Anywhos.
Blockchains can be used for other purposes besides money, did you know that?
It can be used in marketing and advertising too!

has a nifty discussion about that which focuses upon goodies that focus upon:

Providing transparency into the media supply chain to increase efficiency by removing middlemen

It’s a fascinating collection of ideas and stellar insights – highly worthwhile in reading.
And while indeed you could create a one page cheatsheet about the blockchain, you’d probably get ‘way more interest (and money!) about a one page cheatsheet about Bitcoins or Cryptocurrency like so:
Step 1.) Stay abreast of crypto currency in the news
Step 2.) Learn what is required to invest in cryptocurrrency
Step 3.) Keep track of Crypto Authorities online.

It’s Wednesday!
Actually, gnope – it’s still Tuesday at around 8:30p
Very … quiet day was Tuesday.
Got to the gym (yay!).
Had a bout of intestinal destress (not yay!).
I am confident the future will improve (more yay!) and we shall see improvement tomorrow.
And also!
Remember yesterday’s angst?
Here’s how I handled it:

Yesterday I had the rather interesting experience of dealing with an individual who means the world to me…
… and having a severe breakdown of communications.
Now, I could have approached it in several ways.
I could have immediately blown up, said, how dare you, etc.etc.etc.
And while emotionally satisfying, that wouldn’t really have alleviated the situation.
I could have disengaged! (which I did).
I could have done lots of things, I suppose.
This morning, I figured, we’ve all failed mind-reading 101, so honestly, if I valued the relationship, I could choose to say, yo. Here’s how I reacted to yesterday’s communications.
And prior to going to the gym…
It’s just what I did.
I fully expected my words to be zero impact, but imagine my surprise when the individual agreed with me and apologized.
That was something I did not *expect* whatsoever.
And it proved to me that lots of times, when you choose to allow yourself anger/hurt/etc. and then never discuss it…
You really deprive yourself of *honest* communications.
And that is something I will definitely try to pass on to my kids.
Your takeaway?
*Everyone* has failed Mind-Reading 101.
But if you truly value the relationship in question…
Don’t clutch your negative emotions to your chest and say to yourself:
“These are mine! And I’m never letting them gooooo!”
Long term, that a very illogical thing to do.

Don’t put your ego ahead of people who mean the world to you.
Always open the doors to understanding.

Didn’t get to the gym BUT…
My youngest returned home! He spent a week with friends and from what I could tell.. had a superbly good time indeed.
He returns to school in September.
Can’t believe more than 2/3 of 2019 is over!
Seems like the blink of an eye actually.
Oh, and kindness?
Today I was extremely impressed by some work done by a colleague, and offered quite the heartfelt compliment which was basically received as the person’s due.
Sure made me realize that such actions (aka complimenting that person) was a waste of my time and energy so…
I won’t be making that mistake again.
