Over here in Lingland, we had a nice quiet day. Some of my kids are traveling to visit friends (yay!) and others are just enjoying the 3 day weekend.

In a nutshell, here’s what I wrote about….. stuff from yesterday until today.
So! After a sheer amount of insanity yesterday… I had planned on going to sleep by 7pm and waking up at 4am. However, we were kid-free… so we chose to go out for dinner (!) past midnight (aka got home around 8pm).
Tried to sleep, couldn’t. At 10pm, I decided to text my eldest to wish her a good nights rest… that turned into a great conversation that lasted an hour.
I vividly remember thinking to myself, product? Who the hell cares when I’m having such a great time with my kid? (side note – that is one reason why I never have concrete launch dates).
Convo was over by 11pm or so… and at 11:30pm, the other kids arrived back from their respective parties. More convo, woohoo!
12am, husband came to bed.
1am, I think I finally? slept….
And got up at 3am.
2.5 hours later, I am 140% ready to go live with my latest!
And wow I feel great about myself.
Your takeaway?
Never talk down your accomplishments. And trust you me…. the amount of work I accomplished, given the various nonoptimalness, wet teeshirt videos and more…
It’s pretty amazing. Go me!
Actually, more importantly…
Go you! Be proud of your achievements. You’ve earned it.
