It’s Wednesday morning and I hope you had a grand amount of sleep! Today is going to see a huge amount of driving on my part…. business will be put off to the side.

Stands to reason if you think about it. Anyone buying or adopting a brand new pup is in baby buying mode which means they want to spend, spend, spend on the best they can get for their new addition.
I know because she’s watched her friends order a fabulously expensive crate for their tiny new Tibetan terrier simply because they’d read it was the the crate to beat all crates…
Then there is her neighbour who insists that their Labradoodle (one of the naughtiest dogs she knows) sports a stunning new collar every other week in between visits to the groomer.
As for toys – don’t get her started. She now keeps them in stock to give to the new doggie additions that appear on a regular basis.
The thing with puppies is that they need stuff. Lots of it. And they quickly grow out of that stuff so they need…new stuff.
All of it conveniently available on Amazon so her time-poor but pet-obsessed friends don’t even have to leave the house to keep their pooches suitably supplied!

Good morning!
It’s Tuesday morning and one of my kids had a cultural identity question – as you might know, my husband is Asian, I am a mutt (mainly Caucasian) and it seems like these days, kids want to belong to *one* race.
So! Woke up the kid this morning at 5am, and we went on an adventure that ended up (of course) at Starbucks. Got the kid the fav vanilla latte, and then we sat in the MooseMobile, talking about heritage and the benefits of having multiple cultures to learn from.
I wanted to ensure that the next time someone throws the kids heritage in the face, the kid is equipped to say, thank you for your input! So sad you’re that one-dimensional.
I think it was accomplished, yay!
