Well, if you *really* knew SEO like I did, back in 1998…. that actually was true.
SEO was soooo straightforward back then…. you could add simply a new capital letter in your page titles, reindex it and see how they rank.
Ah, the glory days those were!
Well, nowadays, it’s a weee bit more difficult.

Toxic parents.
Yesterday you might remember ’twas Father’s Day…
And the thing is….
Some kids had the huge bad luck to have quite the toxic father.
So I wrote this:

It’s Father’s Day here in the States!
Happy Dad’s Day for you if you/yours celebrate it….
BUT if you have a toxic dad, it’s ok NOT to feel happy joy joy.
There are some folk out there who have toxic dads.
Some folk who have been raised to always doubt themselves…
… and to those people I say:
It’s not you.
It’s never *been* you.
Being a dad, alas, never automatically gifts men with wisdom and sanity….
… some men simply never were cut out to be dads.
But they still have kids….
… and those kids suffer from the lack of compassion and empathy a toxic parent emits.
So if you simply cannot wish your Dad a Happy Dad’s Day because of the toxicity…
That’s *okay.*
We all do the very best we can but yep… sometimes the collateral damage feels just too great.
