Yep, that’s the Beak ‘o Doom on my head, surveying his majestic kingdom.
And! Made an awesome soup dinner for the husband:

Then….
THEN…
In the afternoon, I confess that I got a weeeee bit jaded about marketing.
It seems like a huge number of buyers really do value “shiny” over, well, “value.”
So I will make my own products even shinier…. but said mood resulted in….
THIS *extreme* bout of silliness:
“….So I’m working at my downstairs space (husband’s office is downstairs)…
… and I realized I forgot my water upstairs.
Cue dramatic music here!
Zoomed up the stairs at lightning speed (read: hobbled my way up), boldly seized my clear sparkling Strawberry/Kiwi water (2 for a dollar at Shoprite!), leaped over several small buildings that materialized out of thin air (kinda like what happens when your Paypal account spits out $100 bills and literally forces you to make money whether you like it or not… out of thin air, see?)!
But then….
Then…..
THEN the perilous situation suddenly made itself despairingly clear!
I needed more exclamation points!
But even worse….
I couldn’t open the water bottle (the cap was welded onto the bottle via the force of a thousand radiant suns that miraculously combined themselves into a single pinpoint beam so powerful, it would literally take you by the hand and force you to make money whether you craved it or not)!
So! Found the husband who replied, oh, you brought me down water!
To which I responded, Errrrrrrrr it’s actually for me, but I could be persuaded to share.
And we both burst out laughing.
I love this man!
Your takeaway? Laughter is a gift from the gods – one of the best things about a marriage that works, or family relations, or friends etc….
… is the gift of delighting other folk and raising their spirits at the same time.
With the force of a thousand brilliant suns.
That nestle in your Paypal account.
Along with that big buff ATM machine that resides.
